CAMP COURAGEOUS<br />
MISSION & SERVICES<br />
Camp Courageous is a year-round recreational and respite care facility<br />
for individuals of all ages with special needs. Camp Courageous<br />
provides week long stays, respite care weekends, emergency respite,<br />
and a travel program. Over 7,000 campers are served annually. The<br />
camp is run on donations, without government funding, formal<br />
sponsorship, or someone paid to raise funds for the camp.<br />
HOW TO HELP<br />
One can help by volunteering...with campers...dietary...maintenance...<br />
nursing. Donate excess food from one’s garden. Donate supplies from<br />
the camp’s needs list. One can help with fund raisers, like obtaining<br />
items for the camp’s annual Pineapple Gala auction. One can put on<br />
their own fund raiser for camp, since camp pays no one to raise money<br />
for the camp.<br />
