Village Voice August/September 2017<br />
The Penn and Tylers Green Open Gardens 2017<br />
event was the most successful to date. Once<br />
again, God blessed us with weather that was dry<br />
but not baking, along with the opportunity to<br />
'refuel' in Mary Coker's lovely garden and at the<br />
Sanctuary. Both venues contributed significantly<br />
to the overall total of just over £2000... All to be<br />
spent in due course on gifts to the community<br />
from our parent 'Village Care' charity.<br />
Thanks also go to each of the Open Gardeners<br />
for sharing their blessings (and hard work) with<br />
the rest of the village... as well as to all who<br />
enjoyed the afternoon's walk after parting with<br />
their 'contribution' to such a worthy cause.<br />
