Dr. Dasari Narayana Rao, is an Indian is a politician, film director and producer. He directed<br />
about 150 films, produced 53 films and worked in above 250 films as a dialogue writer and<br />
as a lyricist . He was soon recognised as a potential stage artiste, scriptwriter and director.<br />
During his career he also acted in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages. He won Andhra<br />
Pradesh State Best actor award for his acting.<br />

The story revolves around a woman’s rebellion<br />
in Telangana. Ramulamma at a very young<br />
age of 13 was impregnated by the dora. The<br />
dora orders his men to throw the baby and kill<br />
Ramulamma. The baby is found by naxals and<br />
raised by them. Injured Ramulamma is taken<br />
care of by a Dalit couple who treat her as their<br />
own sister.<br />
