Moderator Anupama Chopra, Film Critic<br />
Anupama Chopra is a critic, author and director of the Mumbai Film Festival. She has been writing<br />
about Bollywood since 1993 for international publications like The New York Times, The Los Angeles<br />
Times and Sight & Sound. She is also the founder and editor of Film Companion. She has written<br />
several books on Indian cinema. She won the 2000 National Film Award for Best Book on Cinema<br />
for her first book Sholay -The Making of a Classic.<br />
Siddharth Roy Kapur<br />
Siddharth Roy Kapur is an eminent film producer, founder of Roy Kapur Films and the President of<br />
the Producers Guild of India. He is on the Board of Trustees of the Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI)<br />
and on the Steering Committee of the International Film Festival of India (<strong>IFFI</strong>). With an exceptional<br />
filmography to his credit as a producer, he has established himself as one of India’s trailblazing<br />
creative powerhouses. He has been featured on The Economic Times Top 40 Indian Business Leaders<br />
under 40 and The Hollywood Reporter Next Generation Asia Inaugural Class of Young Leaders.<br />
Ekta Kapoor<br />
Ekta Kapoor is credited with revamping India’s television landscape. She pioneered an entire genre<br />
of television content, heralding India’s satellite television boom. As the creative force behind the<br />
Company’s success, she believes in a hands-on approach in day-to-day creative direction for all<br />
their content. Under her creative guidance, Balaji has won almost every major TV award. In 2016,<br />
she was placed at the No. 1 position among ’50 Most Influential Women’ in the Indian marketing,<br />
advertising and media ecosystems by IMPACT magazine.<br />
Vijay Singh<br />
Vijay Singh was appointed the CEO of Fox Star Studios India in 2008. Prior to this, he was President,<br />
Strategy and Corporate Development at Star India. Singh set up Sony Music Entertainment in India<br />
where he was responsible for setting up Sony’s Music. He has also worked with The Unilever Group,<br />
Walt Disney Consumer Products and the Tata Group.<br />
Sajid Nadiadwala<br />
Sajid Nadiadwala is the third generation filmmaker of the Nadiadwala family who have been in<br />
the filmmaking business for more than 60 years. His passion for entertaining the audience has<br />
yielded hit films like Jeet, Judwaa, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Heyy Babyy, Housefull, Highway, 2 States,<br />
Heropanti, Kick, Tamasha, Baaghi, Dishoom and Judwaa 2.<br />
Karan Johar<br />
Karan Johar made his directorial debut at age 25 with love story Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The film<br />
remains a landmark in Indian cinema for the appreciation it received, both critically and commercially,<br />
in India as well as internationally. Over the last 15 years, he has directed, written critically and<br />
commercially acclaimed blockbusters like Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and<br />
My Name is Khan. Karan wears many caps with ease. Karan is also a television personality, talk show<br />
host, costume designer and the latest feather in his cap is that of being an actor. His talk show Koffee<br />
with Karan has the distinction of being the most watched English talk show on Indian television.<br />
