Nishikant Kamat’s directorial debut was the impactful Marathi language film Dombivali<br />

Fast. The film earned major critical acclaim in India and internationally. Nishikant then<br />

decided to push boundaries as he adapted Dombivali Fast in Tamil as Evano Oruvan<br />

starring R Madhavan. The film earned major acclaim in the Tamil film industry and<br />

marked his credential as a versatile filmmaker. In 2008, Nishikant Kamat made his<br />

debut in the Hindi film industry with Mumbai Meri Jaan, It earned him The Filmfare<br />

Critic’s Award for Best Film along with awards in various other technical departments<br />

including a National Award for Visual Effects. Nishikant returned to Marathi cinema<br />

with Lai Bhaari, starring Riteish Deshmukh. The film broke box office records at the<br />

time. With his penchant and hunger for varied genres of films, Nishikant is currently<br />

working on over half a dozen projects. Some in the scripting stage, while some already<br />

having been announced in the media.<br />

Rahul Rawail worked as an Assistant Director, with filmmaker Raj Kapoor, at the<br />

R.K.Studios, assisting him on Mera Naam Joker and Bobby. At R.K.Studios, he also<br />

assisted Randhir Kapoor on Kal Aaj Aur Kal and Dharam Karam. After his stint as an<br />

assistant director, he established himself as one of the most prominent filmmakers<br />

in the Indian Film Industry. He produced some films, and was actively involved with<br />

Rishi Kapoor and Naresh Malhotra (of Prime Focus) in setting-up the first Digital<br />

Audio Studio in Mumbai. He has been the director who has launched Kumar Gaurav,<br />

Vijeta Pandit, Sunny Deol, Amrita Singh, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Kajol, Kamal<br />

Sadanah, Aishwarya Rai and John Abraham, having directed all their debut films. He<br />

was a member of the Jury for Indian films for the Oscars in 2015.<br />

Ruchi Narain is a multi-award-winning filmmaker who revels in working across<br />

genres. She has won a FilmFare Award as writer for the political love story Hazaaron<br />

Khwahishein Aisi, Critics’ Award at the Osian Festival as director for her thriller,<br />

Kal (Yesterday & Tomorrow), and several awards producing wildlife documentaries.<br />

She has written and directed India’s biggest animation film Hanuman Da Damdaar<br />

voiced by Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Javed Akhtar, Kunal Kemmu, Chunky<br />

Pandey, Saurabh Shukla, Makrand Deshpande and produced by R.A.T Films<br />

with her partners Ashutosh Shah and Taher Shabbir. They have 3 features and a<br />

documentary in production.<br />
