Moving to Israel and into the dorms was a shock to the system! Coming from the
comforts of home into the not so luxurious dormitory on Har Hatzofim took a lot
of adjustment, that is still not quite complete! I have had to set my body clock
around the water heater and my sleep schedule around the people on the floor!
However, campus life has given me the opportunity to interact with students
from around the world, and after I became used to the fact that the food in the
fridge was communal and that there was no such thing as knocking on the door,
life became a bit easier. My room-mate and I have become very close, literally
being that we live in such a closed-in environment, but we are still managing to
smile at each other occasionally! Nonetheless, despite all this, the campus seems
heavenly compared to where we lived on Givat Ram over the summer. And now
I only have a five minute walk to classes!
