T he C hanukah trip to E ilat turned out to be very popular. People
w ere anxious to try and gain a tan in the w inter and the prospect
o f spending a few days in the sun, eating donuts and snorkeling in
the R ed Sea seem ed appealing. A lthough the w eather did not
quite live up to p eople’s high expectations, the rather overcast
skies did not deter the hardy students o f the R othberg School, clad
in sw eatshirts, from battling their w ay to the sea. D evouring
donuts on the shore-front w as felt to be very m uch in the spirit o f
the festival. W hen the sun w ent dow n, students turned to the bars
and clubs o f the southern m ost city o f Israel for entertainm ent.
