Once more Tourusalem brought a
group of thirty odd students into
the heart of the old city, on this
occasion to the musty, potentially
claustrophobic Hasmonean Tunnel
that runs under the Western Wall.
The Wall is of particular interest to
Jews in that it is all that now
remains of the Second Temple of
King David’s City.
In the middle of November about
thirty students embarked on an OSA
guided tour, Tourusalem, to Al-
Aqsa and the Dome of the Rock.
The former a mosque, the latter a
Muslim sanctuary from which
Muhammad is supposed to have
ascended into heaven, both are of
immense importance to Muslims
the world over.
