5.2 OIL & GAS PRODUCTION<br />
With the advent of NELP <strong>and</strong> CBM policy, Crude Oil <strong>and</strong><br />
Natural Gas production under PSC regime has continually<br />
increased over the years until 2013-14 after which the<br />
oil production has become stagnant <strong>and</strong> gas production<br />
has gradually declined. To arrest this decline <strong>and</strong> provide<br />
impetus to the production levels, Govt. has launched DSF<br />
policy <strong>and</strong> <strong>HELP</strong> under a new fiscal <strong>and</strong> contractual regime.<br />
The oil <strong>and</strong> gas production trend of the country till 2015-16<br />
is given below:<br />
