to himself. He clicked from one tab to the other watching<br />

his hacking software at work. It was running algorithms.<br />

He had high hopes.<br />

He laughed and looked over the three screens.<br />

Something weird was taking shape. His program was<br />

not only cutting through the accounts, but appeared<br />

to be opening up the mainframe of the site’s server.<br />

Sweet, Achermann thought, I’ll run the whole freaking<br />

place before they even know what hit them. I may be<br />

able to take over the entire site and then access all the<br />

Achermann watched with interest as each<br />

screen simultaneously appeared to have changed at the<br />

same time. A new web page appeared on each screen;<br />

each with a picture of a heavy metal door. Achermann<br />

hit ctl and ran the scroll up on his mouse to enlarge<br />

the picture. In small print at the top of each door was<br />

a red scrawl. Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch’entrate.<br />

Achermann shrugged and continued to let the routines
