Las Vegas and beyond for new luxury travel agency
A Sutton Coldfield-based luxury travel agency held a
glitzy Las Vegas themed official launch party in Mere
Green recently.
Guests were entertained by Elvis Presley, his Vegas
showgirls and live music at Pure Destinations, on
Belwell Lane, before enjoying an after-party of freeflowing
prosecco and canapés at the neighbouring
FSK restaurant and bar.
More than 100 people attended a glittering launch
party including customers, the press, local dignitaries
and members of the Wolverhampton Wanderers
football team who live locally.
On the slick evening event, a range of luxury holidays
given away and it provided Pure Destinations staff
with the chance to introduce the brand to attendees
and a comfortable environment to discuss their next
big holiday adventure.
Providing a relaxing and stress-free setting to arrange
your yearly family holiday or a once-in-a-lifetime
getaway, it is hoped the luxury Kuoni Partner store
can breathe some life back into the travel scene in
Sutton Coldfield .
Staff say their concierge service and the fact the
company is ABTA bonded and offers ATOL
protection guarantees secure bookings for
holidaymakers buying package holidays in the current
travel climate where consumer security is of the
utmost importance.
Travelling far and wide, travel experts Simone,
Natasha and Donna from the store have indepth
knowledge of the world, from favourite
destinations loved by Brits to off-the-beaten-track
recommendations for the adventurous. Holiday
packages range from honeymoons, family holidays
and cruises to escorted tours, adventure holidays and
beyond.
Mere Green store manager Simone Adams admitted
it had been a turbulent year for travellers but said the
company are able to offer safe and secure trips all
over the world to some of the finest resorts and most
stunning far flung destinations.
She said: “This has certainly been a challenging
year for the travel industry following a summer of
hurricanes, earthquakes and forest fires.
“Then we have political unrest in Spain and the
collapse of Monarch Airlines - all of which have
worried holidaymakers.
“These are definitely testing times for holidaymakers
but we want to reassure them that our staff are fully
aware of what is happening around the world and
can give them the best possible advice and if anything
were to happen you have the peace of mind of our
concierge team on hand before, during and after
your trip to make sure your holiday is as stress-free as
possible.” she said.
Director of Pure Destinations, Lakh Hayer, spoke
about the history of the brand: “My family have been
in the travel industry for 30 years as an independent
and we know how to allay people’s fears by putting
them at ease and helping them choose the right
destination.
“We also offer bespoke and tailor-made holidays and
fully escorted tours when required so that areas such
as Asia, South Africa or South America become much
more accessible.
“The new store in Sutton is a great addition to the
overall portfolio of travel companies in Edgbaston,
Five Ways and West Bromwich. The store was
completely designed by our in-house team to provide
an inspiring place to arrange an awe-inspiring break.”
He added that there is now a big demand for
holidaymakers looking to be wowed by unusual
destinations and experiences rather than the
traditional fly and flop holidays.
