embarking on the first arena tour of his solo career.
Representing his first tour following the October release
of his debut solo album, As You Were, the tour comes as
the former Oasis and Beady Eye frontman is back at the
height of his powers. His return has been nothing short
of spectacular, from emotive scenes in Manchester to
huge sing-a-longs at Glastonbury, while three new tracks
– Wall of Glass, Chinatown and For What It’s Worth –
are already establishing themselves as towering anthems,

A medieval art discovery in a
dusty church with the potential
to change history is at the
centre of David Edgar’s 1994
work Pentecost. The prolific and highly-successful British
playwright will return to his hometown of Birmingham to
oversee the premiere of a newly-revised version of the play
by the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Theatre Company,
formerly the Birmingham School of Acting. This politicallytopical
drama, set in Eastern Europe, sees armed and
desperate migrants storm the church holding hostage the
art historians who have come to study the fresco. A Serbian
director and several Eastern European actors are among its
diverse cast. Edgar, who was born in Birmingham into the
fourth generation of a theatrical family, has long associations
with the REP and RSC. The cast also includes two members
who have recently been awarded prestigious Laurence

The Birmingham Canoldir Male Choir invite you to join in
the Christmas festivities with them as they host their annual
Christmas concert at Town Hall Birmingham. Based in the
heart of the city and conducted by James Llewelyn Jones,
this award winning male choir, which last year celebrated
its 50th anniversary, will be joined by Gemini Brass, the
outstanding soprano, Denise Leigh, who together with the
St Alphege Song Squad guarantee a fantastic feast of music
and song.

for charities, the choir presents a Christmas Spectacular
