Family Nature Workshop: Animal Tracking<br />

We don't always see all of the different animals that live<br />
in UMLY's Cassatt Preserve, but we can often find signs<br />
that they leave behind. In this workshop we will learn<br />
about scat, rubbings, fur, pellets, and how to read<br />
different animal tracks.<br />

Parents and children will learn the basics of sketching<br />
plants and animals and also how to make fun art projects<br />
from found materials in nature.<br />

Daughters can bring along their father, uncle, or other<br />
favorite adult for a winter afternoon hike through the<br />
varied habitats of the Cassatt preserve, followed by a nice<br />
warm cup of cocoa and a visit with the animals in our funfilled<br />
nature center!<br />
