Young scientists will perform hands-on science<br />
experiments that explode, squish and erupt! They will also<br />
have the chance to explore outdoors and see how science<br />
and nature fit together.<br />

Children experience nature up close in our Environmental<br />
Education Center with live animal visits, farm and garden<br />
activities, science experiments and hikes in our 20-acre<br />
nature preserve.<br />

Spend your day off with us at the UMLY Environmental<br />
Education Center! We'll start off feeding and caring for the<br />
animals in the nature center and at UMLY Farm. We will<br />
discover the future of gardening with our indoor tower<br />
gardens, and sample some fresh greens. We'll spend some<br />
time outdoors in the afternoon (weather permitting) hiking<br />
and exploring the Cassatt preserve, and walking the goats<br />
for exercise. Finally, we'll wrap up the day with some<br />
wacky science experiments in the lab. Please pack a lunch,<br />
winter coat, and a hat and gloves. No early drop-off or<br />
late pick-up available.<br />
