This rule applies to online application for accommodation and not to those who will come first to Warsaw. International students live at the SGH dormitory “Sabinki”, which is located one block away from the campus (10 minutes walking distance). Students share double rooms of a moderate size. Each room has two beds, a dining table, a fridge, and two wooden closets with shelves for clothes, hanging cupboards, chairs, and computer tables. There is a bathroom and a kitchen on each floor, and cooking utensils are also provided. The price is 265 PLN/month (but it can be slightly raised) plus 200 PLN deposit payable on arrival which will be returned before departure providing the room and its equipment will be not damaged. There is a student canteen in the dormitory, where you can buy lunch and dinner for a low price. There are also cafeterias at the campus and fast food restaurants in the vicinity. Usually students buy groceries and cook their meals in the dorm. 18
In case you choose a private option, we can help you in finding a flat in town and put you in touch with other exchange students, if you want to share it with somebody. Please note we cannot take the responsibility for this kind of accommodation, and you will sign the contract directly with the owner. SGH Polish students and exchange students will be living in the same dormitory complex. There is a kitchen on each floor where students can cook their meals. Cooking utensils will also be provided to students. You will be supplied with linen, pillows, comforters and blankets. The linen will be changed twice a month. The price for a place in double room is 550 PLN/month; if you wish to have a room for yourself the cost goes up to 1100PLN/month. Rooms for students are located on two floors.
