5 BOSWELLIA<br />

The Boswellia tree that is originally<br />

from India is well known for its gum that<br />

possesses analgesic, anti-arthritic and anti-inflammatory<br />

properties. A study done<br />

in 2003 that examined the tolerability,<br />

safety and efficacy of boswellia extract in<br />

15 individuals suffering from osteoarthritic<br />

knees reached the conclusion that this<br />

natural herb can help to reduce frequency<br />

of swelling and knee pain, increase walking<br />

distance and knee flexion after just 8<br />

weeks of application with very few side<br />

effects observed. On top of this, boswellia<br />

is known to prevent inflammatory white<br />

blood cells from invading damaged or injure<br />

tissue thus making it a perfect pain<br />

killer for gout, osteoarthritis and other<br />

forms of arthritis as well.<br />

6 BURDOCK<br />

Research has shown that, to gain relief<br />

from joint pain, you should increase your consumption<br />
