Rainforests!<br />

RSPB, Largs Road, Lochwinnoch<br />

10am to 12noon<br />

Rainforests are like no other habitat, and<br />

in spite of only covering 2% of our earth’s<br />

surface, around half of all animal and plant<br />

species live here! These amazing areas,<br />

found on every continent except Antarctica,<br />

are under threat every day from logging,<br />

agriculture and mining. Come along for fun<br />

day out on the reserve to learn about why<br />

rainforests are so amazing and important.<br />

Please wear suitable clothing for being<br />

outdoors. Ages: 5 to 14 years. Please note<br />

that all children aged 8 and under must<br />

be accompanied by an adult. Booking<br />

essential. Cost: £5 (£3 RSPB members)<br />
