The 62ha development is situated off Lincoln Rolleston Rd, in a low-density area on Branthwaite Drive. It comprises 600 sections ranging in size from 450 sq m-1000 sq m, with prices starting at $160,000. Construction is due to start in September and the first titles are expected to be through towards the end of 2018. This first release will consist of 120 sections. The project is the work of locally owned Gillman Wheelans, an established developer that was also responsible for Levi Park, in Rolleston. Gillman Wheelans director Hamish Wheelans said such was the demand for Levi Park that the company had since been seeking a quality block of land on which to build a new subdivision. “We really liked this piece of land because of its location and we’re keen to try and save some of the existing plantings, including part of a hazelnut orchard and some established oak trees.” Falcon’s Landing will include Gillman Wheelans’ NATURE: These oak trees will form part of one of the reserves at Falcon’s Landing.
