escape into another path. We try to
create an augmented reality
experience with our music.
Dax & Atragun
The US production duo are doing
well to climb in the industry, Dax
tells us about their work together.
Please tell us about yourselves
Funny, Andrew and I started under a
tree at Albright College where we
were both students. I was busy
studying guitar/songwriting and
video game/background music when
I met Andrew. Andrew had been
producing for a while and took me
under his mentorship to teach me the
ins and outs of production. I also
made a friendship I wouldn't trade
for the world. I remember our first
track was titled 'Albright Anthem' and
we got good and bad criticism but,
most importantly, people telling us
to keep going and giving us their
honest opinion helped us push
ourselves in production.
What does the Dax & Atragun music
bring to the world that is unique?
We just love to create music that
people can escape reality to and can
immerse themselves with. Honestly,
when it comes to music we are so
happy that even one person has taken
the time to listen to our music.
What advice do you have for aspiring
musicians?
The advice I would have to any
aspiring musician is to make sure you
keep your mind in the right place
when venturing into the music
industry. Always look for mentors and
never be opposed to learning
something new.
Also when it comes to any shows, the
best advice for any artist is to get
everything on paper and know what
you're getting into. Most importantly
take things with a grain of salt and
don't be afraid to put a value on
yourself.
Also, do not follow trends, be unique
and make sure that your sound
reflects you.
