Depending on the nature of the scheme<br />
various investigations, tests and calculations<br />
may need to be performed along with<br />
obtaining necessary consents:<br />

Ground investigation, including infiltration<br />
test results, soil testing and groundwater<br />
monitoring as appropriate.<br />
<strong>Design</strong> calculations which demonstrate<br />
compliance with the design criteria for the<br />
site including all hydraulic and structural<br />
calculations for permeable pavements<br />
and underground storage structures as<br />
appropriate.<br />
Completion of standard design<br />
information forms as may be provided by<br />
the LPA.<br />
Details of any offsite works required,<br />
together with any necessary consents in<br />
place (or can be obtained).<br />

near a main river (including where the<br />
river is in a culvert), works on or near a<br />
flood defence or for works in the flood<br />
plain of a main river; Ordinary<br />
Watercourse Consent (LLFA) for any<br />
structure with the potential to affect flows<br />

(Highways Authority); or with Sewerage<br />
Undertaker for any connections to the<br />
public sewer. Discussions should be held<br />
with EA for Infiltration within Source<br />

Proposed maintenance schedule and<br />
confirmed management arrangements for<br />
all non adopted drainage. Identify any<br />
proposed split of the <strong>SuDS</strong> between<br />
private (curtilage) and public (open space<br />
