CPR / FIRST AID<br />
This class teaches adult and infant CPR as well as training with<br />
the Automated External Defibrillator. Fee includes the cost of an<br />
American Red Cross card good for two years. Learn the basics of<br />
First Aid with hands-on classroom experience. Fee includes the<br />
cost of an American Red Cross certificate, good for three years. This<br />
class qualifies boys and girls for scout merit badges.<br />

LEARN TO KAYAK FOR<br />
ADULTS AND FAMILIES<br />
“Seize the Day” and leave your worries and anxieties behind you.<br />
This small group class is the easiest way for anyone -really- ANYONE<br />
to try kayaking. Our stable kayaks and experienced instructors<br />
will show you how simple, safe and fun kayaking really is. Did you<br />
know that kids and women usually pick it up the quickest? Bring a<br />
friend and make a day of it exploring the Lake’s hidden spots and<br />
learning the basics of how to be under your own power on the<br />
water. Beginners welcome, all equipment is provided.<br />

TENNIS CLASSES<br />
The ARD tennis program is headed up by the dynamic duo of Tom<br />
and Jennifer Isaac. Both are USPTA Pro 1 level coaches and bring<br />
over forty years of teaching and playing experience to the courts.<br />
Students should wear comfortable clothing, shorts with pockets<br />
preferably, and tennis shoes with no black soles. Bring a hat, bottle<br />
of cold water, and your tennis racquet if you have one. On the first<br />
day we will divide students by ability and provide you with a loaner<br />
racquet if you need one, and then advise you on what to buy or<br />
rent.<br />

The Friends of the Auburn Recreation District, Inc., a<br />
501 c(3) organization, is actively seeking donations<br />
for the Youth Assistance Fund. Your<br />
donations will provide scholarship assistance to<br />
over 100 children each year, allowing<br />
them to participate in ARD classes, camps,<br />
lessons and leagues.<br />
The Youth Assistance Fund exists solely on the<br />
