He has taught the entire humanity how they should act and behave so that they may lead a life of comfort and peace in the world and in the Hereafter. Choosing some of the people whose deserved destination in the Hereafter is Hell, He will magnanimously forgive them and bless them with Paradise....

deadpeoplebelovedtohim,<strong>the</strong>yshow<strong>the</strong>mselvestohimatthat<br />
criticalmoment,<strong>and</strong>saytohim:<br />
“O,you,so<strong>and</strong>so!Youaredying.Wehavebeatenyouatthat.<br />
You(’d better) die in <strong>the</strong> Jewish religion. That religion is <strong>the</strong><br />
acceptedonein<strong>the</strong>viewofAllah.”Ifherefusestobelieve<strong>the</strong>m<br />
<strong>and</strong>doesnotlistento<strong>the</strong>m,<strong>the</strong>yleavehim.O<strong>the</strong>rscomeontohim,<br />
saying:YoudieasaChristian!For,itis<strong>the</strong>religionof<strong>the</strong>Messiah,<br />
i.e.Îsâ(Jesus)‘’alaihis-salâm’,whoabrogated<strong>the</strong>religionofMûsâ<br />
(Moses)‘’alaihis-salâm’.”<strong>The</strong>ywillcarryonlikethis,takingturns<br />
tosuggesttohimall<strong>the</strong>religionsheldbyvariouspeople.Thatis<br />
<strong>the</strong>timewhenanyonedestinedby<strong>the</strong>Jenâb-i-Haqqtogowrong<br />
shallgowrong.Andthatis<strong>the</strong>statepointedoutin<strong>the</strong>eighthâyati-kerîmaofÂl-i-’ImrânSûra,whichpurports:“O<br />
our Rabb! Let<br />
not our hearts deviate as we die after Thou hast granted us îmân<br />
in <strong>the</strong> world. ...”<br />
IfJenâb-i-HaqqgrantsguidancetoaslaveofHis<strong>and</strong>blesses<br />
him with steadiness in îmân, <strong>the</strong> rahmat-i-ilâhiyya (divine<br />
compassion)shallcometohisrescue.Accordingtosome(Islamic<br />
scholars)Jebrâîl(ArchangelGabriel)‘’alaihis-salâm’ismeantby<br />
<strong>the</strong>word‘rahmat’(usedin<strong>the</strong>âyat-i-kerîma).<br />
<strong>The</strong>rahmat-i-ilâhiyyaexpels<strong>the</strong>devil<strong>and</strong>removes<strong>the</strong>fatigue<br />
from<strong>the</strong>invalid’sface.<strong>The</strong>reuponthatpersonfeelssoo<strong>the</strong>d<strong>and</strong><br />
smiles.Manyadyingpersonisseentosmileatthatstage,when<strong>the</strong><br />
rahmat,(i.e.HadratJebrâîl,)issentbyAllâhuta’âlâ<strong>and</strong>giveshim<br />
<strong>the</strong> glad tidings, saying, “Do you know me? I am Jebrâîl. And<br />
<strong>the</strong>se(disguisedpeople)are<strong>the</strong>demons,yourenemies.Youdieas<br />
(a member of) <strong>the</strong> Millat-i-hanîfiyya <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> dîn-i-<br />
Muhammadiyya,(i.e.<strong>the</strong>religion,Islam,declaredthroughHadrat<br />
Muhammad.)Nothingcouldbemorebeloved<strong>and</strong>moresoothing<br />
thanthisangelforaperson.<strong>The</strong>(latterpartof<strong>the</strong>)eighthâyat-ikerîmaofÂl-i-’ImrânSûra,whichpurports:“...<br />
Yâ Rabbî! Grant<br />
us mercy from Thine own Presence; for Thou, alone, are <strong>the</strong><br />
Grantor of bounties without measure,”pointsoutthisfact.<br />
Somepeoplediest<strong>and</strong>ingduringnamâz.Somepeopledieas<br />
<strong>the</strong>yareasleep,somedieas<strong>the</strong>yarebusywithsomething,some<br />
die all of a sudden, deeply absorbed as <strong>the</strong>y are in playing or<br />
listening to musical instruments or o<strong>the</strong>r frivolous occupations,<br />
<strong>and</strong>o<strong>the</strong>rsdieas<strong>the</strong>yareon<strong>the</strong>booze.Somedyingpeopleare<br />
shown<strong>the</strong>irpassedacquaintances.Itisforthatmatterthatinsome<br />
