Choosing some of the people whose deserved destination in the Hereafter is Hell, He will magnanimously forgive them and bless them with Paradise....

people who worked <strong>and</strong> sweated for <strong>the</strong>ir daily sustenance <strong>and</strong><br />
were contented with <strong>the</strong>ir earnings?” So <strong>the</strong> poor people are<br />
brought to <strong>the</strong> presence of Allâhu ta’âlâ. Allâhu ta’âlâ<br />
compliments <strong>the</strong>m, saying: “Merhabâ, ye people for whom <strong>the</strong><br />
world was a dungeon.”<strong>The</strong>sepeoplealsoarecomm<strong>and</strong>edtojoin<br />
<strong>the</strong>Ashâb-i-yemîn(PeopleofParadise).Ayellowflag,prepared<br />
for<strong>the</strong>m,ish<strong>and</strong>edtoÎsâ(Jesus)‘’alaihis-salâm’.SoÎsâ‘’alaihissalâm’becomes<strong>the</strong>irimâm(<strong>and</strong>leads<strong>the</strong>m).<br />
<strong>The</strong>reafterano<strong>the</strong>rvoicecallsout:“Whereare<strong>the</strong>aghniyâ,i.e.<br />
rich people who were grateful (for <strong>the</strong>ir riches) <strong>and</strong> spent <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
property <strong>and</strong> money for promoting Islam <strong>and</strong> for protecting<br />
Muslimsagainst<strong>the</strong>cruel?”So<strong>the</strong>yarebroughtlikewise.Allâhu<br />
ta’âlâmakes<strong>the</strong>mrecount<strong>the</strong>blessingsthatHegave<strong>the</strong>m(in<strong>the</strong><br />
world),whichtakes<strong>the</strong>mfivethous<strong>and</strong>years.Ino<strong>the</strong>rwords,He<br />
calls<strong>the</strong>mtoaccountconcerninghow<strong>the</strong>yspent<strong>the</strong>riches(He<br />
had given <strong>the</strong>m). For <strong>the</strong>m, also, a flag of various colours is<br />
prepared<strong>and</strong>h<strong>and</strong>edtoSuleymân‘’alaihis-salâm’,whoinhisturn<br />
becomes<strong>the</strong>irimâm.<strong>The</strong>y,too,arecomm<strong>and</strong>edtocatchupwith<br />
<strong>the</strong>Ashâb-i-yemîn<strong>and</strong>join<strong>the</strong>m.<br />
Asisstatedinahadîth-i-sherîf,fourthingsdem<strong>and</strong>fouro<strong>the</strong>r<br />
thingsthat<strong>the</strong>ybearwitnessfor<strong>the</strong>m.Avoicesaysuntopeople<br />
whoused<strong>the</strong>irproperty<strong>and</strong>positioninoppressingpeople:“What<br />
propertykeptyoubusy,sothatyouneglectedtoworshipAllâhu<br />
ta’âlâ?” <strong>The</strong>y answer: “Allâhu ta’âlâ gave us property <strong>and</strong><br />
position. <strong>The</strong>y prevented us from performing our duty towards<br />
Allâhuta’âlâ.”<strong>The</strong>n<strong>the</strong>yareasked:“Whoisgreaterwithrespect<br />
to property; you or Suleymân ‘’alaihis-salâm’?” “Suleymân<br />
‘’alaihis-salâm’isgreater,”<strong>the</strong>ysay.<strong>The</strong>reuponAllâhuta’âlâsays:<br />
“Suchagreatamountofpropertythathehaddidnotpreventhim<br />
fromworshippingMe,butyourspreventedyou,howso?”<br />
<strong>The</strong>reafter,“Whereare<strong>the</strong>ahl-i-belâ,”asksavoice.So,<strong>the</strong>y<br />
arebroughtlikewise.<strong>The</strong>yareasked:“Whatisitthatprevented<br />
youfromworshippingAllâhuta’âlâ?”<strong>The</strong>yanswer:“Allâhuta’âlâ<br />
subjected us to unceasing disasters <strong>and</strong> troubles in <strong>the</strong> world.<br />
<strong>The</strong>refore we were deprived of dhikring Him <strong>and</strong> worshipping<br />
Him?”<strong>The</strong>yareaskedagain:“Inrespectoftrouble,whichoneis<br />
heavier;<strong>the</strong>onethatbefellAyyûb(Job)‘’alaihis-salâm’,or<strong>the</strong>one<br />
thatyouweresubjectedto?”“Ayyûb‘’alaihis-salâm’underwent<br />
