Allâhu ta’âlâ pities all the people on the earth, and sends them the useful things He creates. He has taught the entire humanity how they should act and behave so that they may lead a life of comfort and peace in the world and in the Hereafter. Choosing some of the people whose deserved destination in the Hereafter is Hell, He will magnanimously forgive them and bless them with Paradise....

<strong>and</strong>-so, is accredited to enter Paradise <strong>and</strong> to be safe against<br />
(entering) Hell.”Onceaslave’ssinshavebeenforgiven,anangel<br />
takeshimto<strong>the</strong>squareofArasât,<strong>and</strong>callsout:“Thisisso-<strong>and</strong>-so,<br />
<strong>the</strong>sonofso-<strong>and</strong>-so.Allâhuta’âlâhasforgivenhimhissins.He<br />
shallneverbecomeshaqîagain.Hehasattainedsa’âdat(eternal<br />
happiness)<strong>and</strong>becomesa’îd.”Noo<strong>the</strong>rattainmentcaneverbe<br />
morebelovedtothatperson.<br />
On <strong>the</strong> day of Judgment, Rasûls (Messengers) ‘’alaihim-ussalawât-u-wa-t-teslîmât’<br />
are on minbars (pulpits). <strong>The</strong> minbars<br />
varydirectlyas<strong>the</strong>ranks,positionsoccupiedby<strong>the</strong>Rasûlsbeing<br />
on <strong>the</strong>m. Also <strong>the</strong> ’ulamâ-i-’âmilîn, i.e. Islamic scholars who<br />
adhered to <strong>the</strong> creed of Ahl as-sunnat <strong>and</strong> who practised <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
learnings ‘rahmatullâhi ’alaihim ajma’în’, are on thrones of nûr.<br />
People who attained martyrdom during <strong>the</strong>ir struggles to<br />
propagate<strong>the</strong>religion(Islam)ofAllâhuta’âlâ;<strong>the</strong>sâlihMuslims,<br />
i.e. those who led a life agreeable with <strong>the</strong> Ahkâm-i-islâmiyya;<br />
hâfizeswhoread(orrecited)<strong>the</strong>Qur’ânal-kerîmrespectfully<strong>and</strong><br />
withoutturning<strong>the</strong>irperformanceintomusicalmelodies,i.e.like<br />
singing;muazzinswhoperformed<strong>the</strong>azân(oradhân)inamanner<br />
taughtby<strong>the</strong>Sunnat;all<strong>the</strong>sepeopleareataplacewhosesoilis<br />
madeofmusk.Because<strong>the</strong>sepeopleadapted<strong>the</strong>mselvesto<strong>the</strong><br />
Ahkâm-i-islâmiyya (comm<strong>and</strong>ments <strong>and</strong> prohibitions of <strong>the</strong><br />
Islamicreligion),<strong>the</strong>yownkursîs<strong>and</strong>afterall<strong>the</strong>Prophetsthat<br />
cameto<strong>the</strong>world,from’Âdam‘’alaihis-salâm’toourMaster,<strong>the</strong><br />
Fakhr-i-’âlam ‘sall-Allâhu ta’âlâ ’alaihi wa sallam’, <strong>the</strong>y will be<br />
honouredwithshafâ’at,(i.e.<strong>the</strong>permissiontointercedeforsinful<br />
Muslims.)<br />
Ahadîth-i-sherîfreadsasfollows:“On <strong>the</strong> Judgment Day <strong>the</strong><br />
Qur’ân al-kerîm will come (to<strong>the</strong>placeofJudgment) in <strong>the</strong> guise<br />
of a person with a beautiful face <strong>and</strong> a beautiful character. It will<br />
be requested for shafâ’at, <strong>and</strong> it will perform shafâ’at. It will sue<br />
against people who read (orrecited) it melodiously [likesinginga<br />
song<strong>and</strong>againstpeoplewhoread(orrecited)itforpleasureat<br />
placesofentertainment<strong>and</strong>againstpeoplewhoread(orrecited)<br />
itfor<strong>the</strong>purposeofearningmoney].It will dem<strong>and</strong> its right from<br />
such people. As for people who have attained its grace; it will take<br />
<strong>the</strong>m to Paradise.”<br />
Dunyâ,[i.e.(<strong>the</strong>world,whichinthiscontextmeans)things<strong>and</strong><br />
peoplehamperingactsofworship<strong>and</strong>causingyoutocommitacts<br />
thatareharâm,]appearsin<strong>the</strong>guiseofanold<strong>and</strong>grey-haired<strong>and</strong><br />
ugliest woman. People are asked: “Do you know who this is?”<br />
“Wetrustourselvesto<strong>the</strong>protectionofAllâhuta’âlâagainstthat<br />
