He has taught the entire humanity how they should act and behave so that they may lead a life of comfort and peace in the world and in the Hereafter. Choosing some of the people whose deserved destination in the Hereafter is Hell, He will magnanimously forgive them and bless them with Paradise....

mycorpseslowly.Ifyouknew,youwouldcertainlynotcarrymy<br />
corpseonyourshoulders.”Forthatmatter,whenRasûlullah‘sall-<br />
Allâhuta’âlâ’alaihiwasallam’sawajanâza,hewouldst<strong>and</strong>up<br />
<strong>and</strong>followbehindforaboutfortysteps.<br />
Itisrelatedinahadîth-i-sherîf:Oneday,ajanâza(orjenâza) [1]<br />
was carried past before our blessed Prophet ‘sall-Allâhu ta’âlâ<br />
’alaihi wa sallam’. He stood up respectfully. <strong>The</strong> Ashâb-i-kirâm<br />
‘’alaihim-ur-ridwân’said,“YâRasûlallah(O,you,<strong>the</strong>Messenger<br />
of Allah); <strong>the</strong> janâza belongs to a Jew.” <strong>The</strong>reupon our blessed<br />
Prophet ‘sall-Allâhu ta’âlâ ’alaihi wa sallam’ stated: “Isn’t he a<br />
nafs, (i.e. a human being)?” <strong>The</strong> reason why our master <strong>the</strong><br />
MessengerofAllahdidsowasbecause<strong>the</strong>worldofangelswas<br />
shown, in (a manner called) kashf, to his blessed <strong>and</strong> exalted<br />
person.For<strong>the</strong>samematter,hishighnesswouldbecomecheerful<br />
wheneverhesawajanâza.<br />
[As is written in Halabî, a person who sees a janâza being<br />
carriedpasthimshouldnotonlyrisetohisfeet<strong>and</strong>wait,st<strong>and</strong>ing.<br />
Heshouldst<strong>and</strong>uptojoin<strong>the</strong>peoplecarrying<strong>the</strong>corpse<strong>and</strong>walk<br />
behind<strong>the</strong>janâza.AlthoughithasbeenreportedthatRasûlullah<br />
‘sall-Allâhuta’âlâ’alaihiwasallam’stoodupwhenhesawajanâza<br />
beingcarried<strong>and</strong><strong>the</strong>nsatdownagainwhen<strong>the</strong>(groupofpeople<br />
carrying <strong>the</strong>) janâza passed by <strong>and</strong> comm<strong>and</strong>ed his blessed<br />
Companienstodolikewise,thatcomm<strong>and</strong>mentwas(oneofthose<br />
comm<strong>and</strong>ments that were) subjected to naskh. In o<strong>the</strong>r words,<br />
sometimelaterhechangedthatcomm<strong>and</strong>ofhis.Itiswrittenin<br />
booksentitledMarâq-il-falâh <strong>and</strong>Durr-ul-mukhtâr thatitisnot<br />
permissibleforapersonwhoseesajanâza(beingcarried)tost<strong>and</strong><br />
uptoshowreverence.]<br />
When<strong>the</strong>corpseisintered<strong>and</strong>coveredwithearth.<strong>The</strong>grave<br />
saysasfollowstoitsdeadoccupant:Youwerehappywhenyou<br />
wereonme.Nowyouareunderme<strong>and</strong>unhppy.Youusedtoeat<br />
(delicious)foodontopofme.Nowwormseatyouunderme.<strong>The</strong><br />
gravecontinueswiththisbittertalkofitsuntilitisfilledupwith<br />
earth<strong>and</strong><strong>the</strong>corpseiscompletelycoveredwithearth.<br />
According to a narration related on <strong>the</strong> authority of Ibni<br />
Mes’ûd ‘radiy-Allâhu ’anh’, he asked (<strong>the</strong> Messenger of Allah):<br />
“YâRasûlallah‘sall-Allâhuta’âlâ’alaihiwasallam’!Whatis<strong>the</strong><br />
first thing a dead person meets with after he is placed into his<br />
