READY
to glow
We talk to the team at Face Value about a
special treatment that will take from you
camera shy to camera ready.
A “camera ready” treatment sounds like what every woman
desires… what does this treatment involve?
We use a tailored blend of hyaluronic acid, amino acids and
vitamins combined with botulinum toxin to hydrate and give your
skin that “camera ready” glow.
The hyaluronic acid is a natural moisturiser, which hydrates and
nourishes the skin, while the diluted botulinum toxin (Botox®
or Dysport®) acts on the superficial layer of the facial muscles,
smoothing fine lines and decreasing the action of sweat and
sebaceous glandts. This improves the sheen of the skin, smoothes
the surface and tightens pores. It improves dull, lifeless skin and
softens superficial wrinkles.
How and where is it applied?
Via the V2 Injector gun, which delivers precise doses to the skin
– most commonly on the face, neck and chest. The added benefit
of this needling delivery system is that it further encourages the
regeneration of your own collagen and elastin.
How long does it last?
You will see results in 5–14 days. Most clients find they get around
six months gain, although results will vary.
Does it hurt?
Most clients experience mild discomfort only, although we can
apply topical anaesthetic if preferred.
Is there downtime post-treatment?
Your skin will be pink for a couple of days and some people can
have small areas of pinpoint bruising, easily disguised by mineral
makeup. Some clients have small bumps under the skin for 24 hours.
So while it’s not one of those treatments where you can go straight
back to the office, most tell-tale signs settle within 24–48 hours.
Can we go back for more?
You will certainly want to! We recommend repeating the
treatment every six months in order to maintain and maximise the
benefit to your skin.
What’s one piece of beauty advice you wish every woman knew?
Prevention is definitely better than cure! Start earlier and hydrate
and care for your skin to prevent formation of fine lines and
pigment changes.
