PREFACE GERMAN UNITY DAY 2016 – CITIZENS PARTY IN DRESDEN / The IOM joined other Leibniz Institutes and research facilities of the “Saxon Scientific Mile” in showcasing its research and scientific results. NOBEL LAUREATE PROF. DR. KLAUS VON KLITZING VISITS IOM / Attendees of the series of Gustav Hertz Colloquia could enjoy a special guest speaker from the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research. Prof. Dr. Klaus von Klitzing Nobel Laureate of 1985, gave an insightful lecture on implications of his research to the new system of units. In 1985, the Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to him "for the discovery of the quantized Hall effect".
4TH EUROPEAN SYMPOSIUM OF PHOTOPOLYMER SCIENCE (ESPS 2016) / The conference was organized by the IOM to provide a platform for cross-disciplinary exchange on cutting-edge developments in the field of photopolymerization.
