which enabled two teams to attend
Global Finals in Knoxville
Tennessee over Memorial Day
weekend.
From the pretty pink flamingos
landing on unsuspecting
residents’ lawns to the Red

Tuesday, May 29
At 1:41 p.m. a caller reported
a pipe leaking at 38 Wildewood
Drive
At 3:10 p.m. an alarm was
going off at 13 Keniston Road
and was handled by the fire
department.
Wednesday, May 30
At 12:04 a.m. a caller reported
a dog that had been barking
for over an hour at 11 Witham
Street. The officer checked the
area and no barking occured at
the time.
At 12:58 a.m. an officer
made a property check on the
Summer Street School and the
Huckleberry School. All was in
order.
Thursday, May 31
At 12:08 a.m. a caller reported
a loud party in the yard of 38
Doncaster circle. The officer
stated two people were talking.

Coaches, Parents & Guardians,
We are asking for your help
in reminding visitors to the
fields to not stop or park in the
designated fire lanes. This past
Sunday, we experienced a close
call with a child exiting the
field complex at Lynnfield High
School. This child was almost
struck by moving traffic while
the fire lane was fully blocked
by stopped vehicles.

LCWD Reactivation of Fluoride Notice
The Lynnfield Center Water District has received formal
approval from the Massachusetts Department of
Environmental Protection to reactivate fluoridation
equipment. Effective June 1, 2018, fluoride was reinstituted
into the drinking water.

At 2:42 a.m. a report of an
alarm going off at Sunrise
Assisted Living at 55 Salem
Street was made. The alarm was
handled by the fire department.
Friday, June 1
At 3:52 a.m. an officer made
a property check at Tommy
Bahama located at 1330 Market
Street. The building was secure
At 2:10 p.m. a caller reported
harassment at 47 Grove Street.
The caller spoke with the officer.
Saturday, June 2
At 11:57 a.m. a caller reported
a resident was burning yard debris.
The incident was handled
by the fire department.
At 10:43 p.m. a caller reported
a person getting into a dark colored
sedan. The officer stated all
was in order
Sunday, June 3
At 2:10 a.m. a caller reported
Fire Lanes at fields
Fire lane areas are designated
to keep traffic flowing in case
emergency vehicles need to access
the area.
We are asking all visitors to
please observe the fire lanes;
it could make a difference in
saving lives in an emergency.
We have reque sted the
Lynnfield Police Department
to increase patrols for fire lane
misuse. If there is an area where
people are abusing the fire
a car alarm going off on Bourque
Road
At 11:20 a.m. a caller reported
men were drinking out of red
Solo Cups in the parking lot of
Lynnfield High School. The police
officers checked the area
and were unable to locate the
individuals.
At 10:59 p.m. a caller reported
a burning odor. The case was
handled by the fire department.
Monday, June 4
At 12:33 p.m. a caller at
Walnut Street and Sparhawk
Drive reported they were unable
to start their vehicle.
At 6:21 p.m. an accidental
alarm went off at 34 Grove
Street. The officers checked the
area and all was in order.
Tuesday, June 5
At 2:26 a.m. an Essex Village
caller reported their detector
was chirping.
