30 NATIONS 48
EXPERTS
THE
INTERNATIONAL JURY…
consists of 48 highly qualified and
universally recognized choral experts.
They come from 30 nations and are working
in groups of 3 at the Qualification Concerts,
in groups of 5 in the Open Competition and
7 in the Champions Competition.
ALL IN ALL THERE WILL BE OVER 50 CONCERTS…
these will be Friendship Concerts and Celebration Concerts that will take place all over
Tshwane.
A WORLD PREMIERE…
is one condition for the participation in category
C18 “Musica Contemporanea (Contemporary
Music)”. 14 new choral works have been
composed and will be performed for the first
time ever at the World Choir Games Tshwane
2018. The World Choir Games are thus a venue
designed to promote innovative impulses in
choral music.
