1. Coral Cantus Firmus
Conducter: Isabela Sekeff
Brasilia, Brazil
The Coral Cantus Firmus is listed as one of the best
choirs of Brazil. The choir has an eclectic repertoire
which ranges from classical to popular, folk songs,
sacred, international and chamber music, with
emphasis on Brazilian songs. At the Grand Prix of
Nations Magdeburg 2015 the choir was awarded a
gold medal in category Mixed Choirs.
2. Aarhus Pigekor
Conductor: Helle Høyer Vedel
Aarhus, Denmark
Since the foundation in 1942 Aarhus Pigekor has
toured most of the world - Europe, the US, South
Africa, China, Argentina and Canada. Through the
years the choir has won several gold medals in
international choral competitions. In 2014 the choir
was awarded the title Champion of the World Choir
Games in category Female Choirs.
