REGULATIONS<br />
On 23 March <strong>2018</strong>, Transport for Victoria<br />
(TfV) released a regulatory impact<br />
statement for the proposed Commercial<br />
Passenger Vehicle Industry Regulations<br />
and the proposed Road Safety Road Rules<br />
(Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry)<br />
Amendment Rules. The public comment<br />
period closed on 27 April <strong>2018</strong>.<br />
Transport for Victoria has responded to the<br />
16 industry submissions on the Regulatory<br />
Impact Statement for the introduction and<br />
regulation of the Commercial Passenger<br />
Vehicle Act 2017. Many of the regulations<br />
will be effective from 1 <strong>July</strong> <strong>2018</strong>, with a few<br />
held over for 1 - 6 months.<br />
