THE SKY IS THE LIMIT
One company is taking children’s birthday
parties to new heights. Thanks to VistaJet,
young ones can celebrate turning another
well-travelled year older, aboard a private
jet. Once on-board, party-goers will enjoy
a themed experience, based upon your
child’s personal preferences. This particular
birthday bash won’t come cheap, with a
base fee of $4270 in addition to a $17,000
hourly rate for the use of the jet. A price
that is sure to leave parents reaching for
the oxygen mask.
PACK IT UP
No travel edition of Luxe Living would be complete if we
failed to mention Goyard, the original trunk makers. Since
1835, when the doors of the first store opened in France,
customers have included Pablo Picasso, Coco Chanel and
Karl Lagerfeld. Prices for a new piece of Goyard luggage are
kept as confidential as the brand’s traditional manufacturing
process, but the former is available upon request. These
frankly iconic trunks are easily recognisable, so you’ll have
no problem spotting yours on the luggage belt.
PASSPORT
CONTROL
It’s high time we banished
tattered, sunscreen-stained
passports. Luckily, leather goods
brand Mark Cross has us and
our passports covered. This
genuine leather passport case
will set you back $469, but
you can’t consider yourself a
serious jetsetter without one.
Once you’ve picked a colour
from the range of gorgeous
options, including caviar brick
red, raspberry and powder blue,
all that’s left to do is make sure
your passport is in date.
