Hydraulic Bonnet Bolt System<br />
The hydraulic bonnet bolt tensioner eliminates frictional and torsional loads and reduces<br />
the time required for making up and breaking out bonnet bolts.<br />
• The hydraulic bonnet bolt is completely interchangeable with conventional<br />
bonnet bolts. It has a standard hexagonal head. An additional external thread<br />
mates with the internal threads in the operating head of the hydraulic<br />
bonnet bolt tensioner. The hydraulic bonnet bolt has its operating rod<br />
permanently secured in the machined hole in the center of the bolt.<br />
• The hydraulic bonnet bolt tensioner consists of a compact tensioner unit with<br />
a remote pump.<br />
