NEEDED!<br />
Foster and Adoptive Families for children in the foster care system!<br />
Requirements:<br />
1. Financial stability<br />
2. No criminal history (will discuss)<br />
3. Single parents okay<br />
4. Reliable transportation<br />
5. 24 – 30 hours of training<br />
Respite Care Providers should meet the same licensing requirements as the<br />
foster families.<br />
Mentors are needed for teenagers:<br />
1. No criminal history (will discuss)<br />
2. Reliable transportation<br />
3. One year or 15 month commitment (depends on agency)<br />
4. Minimum 2 - 8 hours a month face to face contact (depends on agency)<br />
5. Orientation<br />
** Children in foster care receive monthly stipends, Medicaid and can attend a<br />
University, College or Vocational school tuition free!<br />
