I-275 Southbound to I-75 Northbound Bridge Deck Replacement<br />
in Manatee County<br />
Financial Project ID: 436299-1-52-01 July <strong>2018</strong><br />
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT<br />
The Florida Department of Transportation’s contractor, Cone & Graham,<br />
Inc., will be replacing the concrete bridge deck on the southbound I-275 ramp<br />
to northbound I-75 in late July <strong>2018</strong>. The project limits and detour route are<br />
identified on the project map below.<br />
PROJECT IMPROVEMENTS<br />
Concrete bridge deck replacement<br />
Roadway resurfacing<br />
Guardrail installation<br />
New signing and pavement markings<br />
PROJECT SCHEDULE<br />
Construction begins early July <strong>2018</strong> and ends in summer 2019<br />
The southbound I-275 ramp to northbound I-75 will be closed for approximately ten (10) months<br />
The ramp closure and detour begins Sunday, July 29, <strong>2018</strong><br />
Please follow the established detour route during this time<br />
A temporary traffic signal is being installed on US 41 at the southbound I-275 exit<br />
Nighttime/overnight periodic I-75 north and southbound lane closures are expected<br />
Please be alert for construction crews<br />
Construction costs are estimated at $8 million<br />
