PROS PECT RIDING CE NTER
Prospect Riding Center is a therapeutic horseback riding
center that helps individuals with special needs overcome
physical, developmental or psychological challenges in their
lives.
Prospect Riding Center has over 20 acres for trail riding, three arenas
for private or small group lessons, and a round pen for individual instruction.
This facility allows their clients to develop core strength and
balance, enhanced self-esteem, and increase both communication and
social skills.
Instructors and volunteers at Prospect Riding Center consistently provide
a warm, nurturing and safe environment to the clients, helping
them grow physically, emotionally and socially.
Over the past several decades, therapeutic riding has evolved both nationally
and internationally. Prospect Riding Center is a member of
PATH International, which is the governing body for therapeutic riding
programs. PATH is the acronym for the Professional Association of
Therapeutic Horsemanship International.

and Career Placement,
Manatee County High Schools
now have the opportunity to
partner with 7 Publix Supermarkets,
providing experience and
employment for a variety of different
students.
High school students are able
to gain experience in a variety of
departments and several students
have been offered paid
positions at the stores!
