(including a glamping pod section) for short breaks for visiting
guests. These include tree houses, lodges and glamping pods as

Details: Each luxurious tree house features a main guest
bedroom (with a double bed and pull-out sofa bed) complete with
an en-suite WC, washbasin and shower room, and is furnished
to the highest standards. For extra comfort, guests can enjoy the
warmth of a log burning stove for the colder months, smart TV,
fridge and hot drink making facilities.
The tree houses are externally clad in a wany-edged Siberian
larch with distinctive Gothic style arched windows to give them
that extra natural “look and feel” as they are set among towering
pine trees near to the park’s Amur tiger habitat. Cedar shingle tiles
are used on the roof.
All internal fixtures and fittings were specified by Port Lympne
and it undertook all of the service connection works with its onsite
grounds staff.
Tree houses are consistently the most sought after and popular
type of accommodation for glamping holidays and short breaks in
the UK. As a result of this trend, Port Lympne reported extremely
healthy levels of bookings for the summer and way beyond into
autumn too. A treehouse stay costs £399 per night during peak
season.

Details: Seven bespoke
tree houses were created to
the client’s requirements.
They were based on a large
octagonal cabin, which acts
as the main lounge, with a
kitchen-diner and walkway
leading to bedrooms and a
separate WC/shower room.
The Cheeky Monkey team
worked with a variety of third
parties and accommodated
their needs and timings. The
build team was hard working
and flexible, and annual
maintenance contracts were
put in place to ensure that
any snags are rectified.

deck allows guests to take
advantage of the breathtaking
views to the sea and
the famous Bass Rock from
the front and to the forest
behind. The deck stands two
metres off the ground with
wooden steps to access the
accommodation. Below deck
are swings and love seat on
the soft sandy ground.”
