Because the Ecobat Group contains specialists that can recycle a battery, processed elements are supplied to other industries, from the sulphuric acid and lead through to the battery case. “EBT believes it provides a scrap battery-recycling scheme that is the benchmark for the industry and can even help its customers deal with the time-consuming and confusing adminis- tration process by completing the Environment Agency scrap registration form and ensuring that it is then updated annually.
