1. Explore at least two methods that nurses can utilize to be more proactive in the community at large.
2. Examine research conducted by Alabama nurses that can make a positive change in health care for
Alabama citizens.
3. Network with colleagues and exchange ideas that can improve your own practice of nursing.

Additional Tickets for Events: Additional tickets for events will be available through pre-registration. Only
a limited number of tickets for these events will be available at the Convention site. PLEASE SUPPORT
THE CONVENTION BY ATTENDING PLANNED FUNCTIONS.
Room Changes: Room changes may be necessary! Any changes will be announced at the business
meetings and/or posted.
Breaks: We have several planned breaks. Some of these will be sponsored and recognition is printed in
the program and will be given at the break.
