different. The wooden panelling is tongue and groove,<br />
for a rustic feel, and there is a simple narrow mirror<br />
above the basin, rather than anything too ornate.<br />
The last room to be completed is a study in<br />
what was once the hay loft. Its former incarnation<br />
is a charming reminder of the building’s history<br />
and hopefully one that the owner of the house<br />
will enjoy while poring over their paperwork.<br />
“It was a fantastic brief, a lovely house... and easy working<br />
with my client who was clear as to what she liked and<br />
didn’t like,” says Belinda. “Whilst the architect designed<br />
the building, my client was very keen that we understood<br />
and achieved her requirements for how the interior<br />
should feel, as the person who is going to live <strong>inside</strong>.”<br />
It sounds as if a very happy new chapter is about to begin.<br />
