A self-taught embroiderer, I love to gather<br />
like-minded people at a workshop, give them lots<br />
of ideas, materials and inspiration, and set them off<br />
on their own creative journey. I particularly enjoy<br />
showing someone who may never have stitched<br />
before how easy it is to treat a needle and thread<br />
like a slow-moving paintbrush. I enjoy devising<br />
workshops reflecting my own changing interests,<br />
including mixed media and collage. Many<br />
friendships have been forged at my workshops,<br />
which gives me almost as much pleasure as<br />
seeing the beautiful work they create.<br />
