There are also some truly fun, fun, fun discoveries in The<br />
Ritual of Holi line, which launched recently from the brand<br />

Celebrating the festival in which Indians throw coloured<br />
powders at each other and with seriously colourful packaging<br />
that would brighten any bathroom, the collection features<br />
many innovative textures. The Ritual of Holi Shower Jelly,<br />
£6.50 for 100ml, for instance, foams on contact with water<br />
and melts onto skin, veiling it in a fruity-floral fragrance,<br />
while the Shower Foam Flower delivers up foam in the form<br />
of – yes, a blooming flower, which you then massage into<br />
skin. As well as these novel attractions, it has what I’d call<br />
quite a ‘young’ fragrance and the teens and young adults I’ve<br />
introduced to it can’t get enough.<br />
Should your own inner teenager still hanker after a bath<br />
bomb, I recommend you trade up to the very sophisticated<br />
Himalayan sea salt-based AromaWorks AromaBombs which<br />
are infused with 100% pure essential oils. The Quad Box<br />
features a quartet of Serenity, Inspire, Nurture and Soulful<br />
mood-shifting scents.<br />
And I’ve one last recommendation. When the trio of<br />
Cologne-inspired Chanel Les Eaux perfumes were launched<br />
in the summer, I loved them so much I declared I wanted<br />
to bathe in them – and it seems the people at Chanel were<br />
listening: Shower Gels, £38 for 200ml, and Body Lotions, £44<br />
for 200ml, have now been released, so I can do just that.<br />
My favourite is crisp green Paris-Deauville, you might<br />
prefer sunlit, warm Paris-Venise or aquatic Paris-Biarritz.<br />
And with their striking packaging – a new, hip flaskinspired<br />
Chanel design – has there ever been a more chicly<br />
understated decorative finishing flourish, for a bathroom?<br />
Just add fluffy towels and your favourite tracks, on a<br />
Bluetooth speaker, for some well-deserved, skin-pampering,<br />
soul-nurturing me-time.<br />
