Oaks Hair and Beauty Retreat was established
in 1990 by Christine and Neil Bacon joined later
on by their son Alexander. We simply fell in love
with this amazing 14th century property starting
renovation immediately throughout all 3 floors.
Having both worked in the hairdressing industry
for many years putting on fashion shows ,
training many students , been nominees of
the British Hairdressers of the year South East
Awards and having managed a reasonable size
team of 22 -24 employees we thought Hythe
would be a much slower pace for us , little
did we realise how busy we would be here on
Hythe’s wonderful High Street full of lots of
independent shops.
We have an exceptionally highly experienced
talented team here who bring a wealth of
experience to the salon with a very loyal
clientele, some having been with us from the
beginning. As a team we are highly motivated to
give a 5* service to all our guests.
We often hold open day/evening events for our
guests showcasing our work and offering advice
on treatments and styling. Here at Oaks we have
our Hero treatments that we choose to work
with and bring only the best products
into our salon.

We have been advocates for this product range

celebrating their 10th Anniversary this year and
we are so pleased to have a wealth of 10 years

The Olaplex hair treatment is one of the biggest
advances in hair technology for years. It’s a
real game changer for our hair colourists with
it maximising the strength and integrity of your
hair during both hair colouring treatments and
what we call stand alone hair treatments.
Once again Oaks was invited to be first to
market with Olaplex, working with it for over
3 years. Olaplex is an in salon treatment with
us using stages 1 & 2. OLAPLEX Number 3 is
your turn; it’s an at home treatment that you
use once a week , quick and easy to use at
home. Our clients really rave about this product
with reviews of great results and easy to use
OLAPLEX No 3 is available at Oaks Hair and
Beauty Retreat.
BEAUTY
We introduced beauty treatments to Oaks
3 years ago employing only the top level
therapists in beauty , Level 3 or above with the
therapists continually training and keeping up
to date with their knowledge ever growing. This
side of the business is in a real growth pattern
so we are delighted to be offering beauty
treatments to our clients who often refer to
it as ‘stepping out of the real world for a few
pampering hours’, finishing with a luxury blow
dry with one of our top stylists.
