They did all kinds of dishonest things to put together the petition. If the mayor had not gotten a copy of the petition we would have never known the detail of this evil act. Allow me to ask a question: What do you think about this? Those who started a petition under false pretense, based on lies should be penalized for attempting to tamper with the election. The ones who file the petition are the guilty ones. They got caught red-handed. That case needs to be reopened, what y’all think? Maybe we will reopen it, we will see. When Mayor Alexander took office, he went through so many changes. First of all the
former administrative team of the town would not give Mayor Alexander the passcode to the computers. They did any and everything to make his job difficult. The former Assistant Town Clerk turned out to be one of the biggest liars since Pinocchio. She lied and said she quit her job at town hall because of some much mess was going on. That was her way of trying to make Mayor Alexander look bad. The only mess that was left at Cotton Valley Town Hall was the mess of Ms. Assistant Town Clerk and her co-workers. As a predominantly white staff, no one questioned their daily activities. Since Joseph Alexander has been in office they watch him like a hawk. If he sneezes too hard, they will use that to remove him. So very sad!!!
