Like I said before and probably will say it again, this book was not written about ALL WHITE PEOPLE of COTTON VALLEY only about those who have demonstrated their racist attitude toward our mayor. Most of you do not know that a man by the name of Mr. Big Boss Bigot came into the Town Hall to inquire about his water bill. He debuted with the staff about trash pickup that was added to his bill. It had been recently voted on for trash pick up to be added to the water bill of all citizens. Mr. Big Boss Bigot was very much aware of the change. While Mr. Big Boss Bigot was there to debate, he followed Mayor Alexander outside. He told Mayor Alexander that he never wanted trash pickup to be added to his bill. As the anger set in that is when he showed his true colors. Mr.
Big Boss Bigot said, “It was the Three Niggers on the alderman board who voted on and passed the trash pickup request. I really don’t believe his anger was about the trash bill, it was about the fact that a black nigger mayor allowed 3 black “Niggers” to change something and he has to submit. Bigots never want to submit to a black man. I don’t think he will make a scene at the town hall again. He had a rude awakening. He was sent straight to jail. “Scared Straight” No doubt, Mr. Big Boss Bigot was a real character in the 1950s and 60s. Heck, he’s a real piece of work right now. He’s not the only “Bigot” in Cotton Valley. There are about 7-10 hardcore racists in this town. Ten bigots out of a town of about 1000 citizens is a very small amount.
