But it is so much more disgusting when a parent can teach their child to hate another person for no reason: One day Mayor Alexander was at the “Handy Stop” where he often stops for a cup of coffee. He was standing at the checkout counter as he greeted a citizen of Cotton
Valley. The citizen had her little girl with her. The citizen is the daughter of one of the most racist people in the town of Cotton Valley. When Mayor Alexander greeted her little girl, He asked the little girl about school. He was talking and being friendly with her. The little girl drew back in her shoulders, hid behind her mother and said, “I hate Him”. Can you imagine that? Yes, I know kids will be kids. Children are usually friendly by nature. The hateful attitude of this child was either taught or caught. Someone has actually trained, coached and taught this child to hate Blacks. She could have very well caught it from being around it. You can’t catch an attitude like that unless someone throws it. What makes it so sad; this little girl has been taught to hate
