The latest series from Samsung – the bagless
Anti-Tangle Turbine Vacuum Cleaner
can make vacuuming an effortless and
enjoyable chore. That’s because the new
system for its vacuum cleaners uses a
turbine to keep stray strands of hair away
from the grille, making it easier to clean
and less likely to lose suction.
Samsung's Anti-Tangle system is designed
to stop the grille getting clogged by
introducing a turbine fan that blows air
in the opposite direction. This keeps hair
in the dustbin where it can be easily
emptied, and it should also mean the
vacuum won't lose its suction power over
time. This is different from a conventional
vacuum cleaner where a spinning fan
pulls air and debris into the dustbin,
while a grille catches the flying dust and
hair before it gets into the fan itself.
A Lightweight Performer
with Powerful Motor
According to Samsung, the new
technology is less than an inch thick,
and uses the same motor that powers the
vacuum's regular suction – at 35,000
rpm, the motor drives the new turbine
to spin at 10,000 rpm balancing
efficiency and noise reduction. With an
innovative pick-up brush that adheres
to floors for even pressure spread, the
Anti-Tangle Turbine Vacuum Cleaner has
extreme suction power which quickly
and thoroughly sucks up dust, hair and
dirt without clogging on various floor
surfaces. The new vacuum cleaner also
comes with an Anti-Tangle tool which is
designed to have two separate airflows
for the dust and hair inlet, and the air
flow inlet. This prevents hair tangles on
the brush bar and shaft of the turbine fan.
Push of A Button for
Easy Cleaning
For simple and convenient maintenance
the vacuum cleaner also comes with an
Easy Dustbin. With just the push of a
button, you can easily detach the dustbin
and empty the contents into a trash can.
In addition, a durable sponge type
foam filter also captures more dust and
can be easily washed and cleaned by
simply rinsing it to prevent clogging and
maintain its suction power.
The Anti-Tangle system was designed
by Dongjin Cho, an engineer in the
Samsung's Kitchen and Cleaning
Advanced R&D Lab, who was
apparently inspired by an aeroplane
