It can be a rarity to get the whole gang together, so we suggest you<br />
drag out the celebrations for as long as possible.<br />
Serve up the rest of that cake, re-use your beautiful floral<br />
arrangements and put the rest of the rosé on ice…<br />
(Ok, who are we kidding, the rosé ran dry before the<br />
speeches, right?) There’s still time to make the most of your<br />
hired venue, if the after-party was part of your pre-planning.<br />
If not, a more casual approach to any festivities is most<br />
certainly acceptable – with gatherings hosted at home a<br />
favoured choice.<br />
If some of your nearest and dearest were unable to attend<br />
the wedding itself, continued celebrations present an<br />
opportunity for them to catch up on the fun. We love the idea<br />
of either a large, extended breakfast or a garden party.<br />
When it comes to catering, popular options include mouthwatering<br />
grazing platters, quality cookouts and even the<br />
couple’s favourite food trucks. Refrain from sit-down options<br />
and give your guests the opportunity to mingle. You’ll find<br />
that many catering companies and venues will offer reduced<br />
rates for couples who purchase a package that comprises<br />
of both the wedding itself and the day after. It might be as<br />
simple as leftovers – and how good does that sound!<br />
The dress code should be as laid-back as the catering.<br />
Brides will have likely donned a white dress at the wedding<br />
itself, so the day after is the time to opt for a more colourful<br />
outfit. We don’t think you can go wrong with a high-quality<br />
cotton dress if you want to make a statement whilst still<br />
adhering to the more casual dress code. Not to mention,<br />
you’ll get plenty of further use out of it during your<br />

Bar Or. And, as your feet are likely to be throbbing from all of<br />
the dancing the night before, sling your wedding heels back in<br />
the box for now, and slip on a pair of sandals instead.<br />
Take your time to enjoy talking properly to guests after<br />
the often rushed conversations that occur at the wedding<br />
reception. Thank your bridal party for all of the assistance<br />
in planning a perfect wedding and, of course, spend some<br />
