When you’re looking for the perfect florist for your wedding,<br />
here are the questions that should be asked.<br />
Is our date available and how many<br />
other weddings will you be doing on<br />
the same weekend? Because whilst you<br />
want to choose a popular florist with<br />
a good reputation, you want to ensure<br />
that on your chosen date, they won’t<br />
be inundated with other weddings.<br />
Can we see some examples of your<br />
work? <strong>This</strong> really goes without saying, but<br />
it’s important to check you like their work!<br />
These floral arrangements should appeal<br />
to your personal tastes.<br />
I’m no flower expert, can you help<br />
educate and inspire? The florist you<br />
decide on should be just as excited to<br />
plan your wedding as you are. They should<br />
be knowledgeable and happy to help, so<br />
don’t settle for less.<br />
Can you create an arrangement<br />
that will compliment our colour<br />
scheme? If you’ve already got a scheme in<br />
mind, it’s important to consider whether<br />
your florist can compliment it from the<br />
get-go.<br />
Will the flowers we like be available<br />
at the time? You’re favourite winter<br />
flowers may not be available for your<br />
summer wedding. So be sure to clarify<br />
exactly what you’re after in order to avoid<br />
disappointment.<br />
Will you assist with the set-up or<br />
simply deliver the flowers? You may<br />
require your florist to help set the scene<br />
or this might be something you’d like to<br />
do with your bridal party. If you’re opting<br />
for the florist to set up, be sure to consider<br />
if there will be an additional cost.<br />
Have you worked at our venue before?<br />
If they haven’t, it’s a great idea to schedule<br />
in a site visit so they can plan the floral<br />
arrangements with a clear vision<br />

Can I see a mock-up of the bridal<br />
bouquet? You don’t want to end up<br />
unhappy with your bouquet when<br />
it’s too late to make changes. It’s not<br />
unreasonable to request a mock up ahead<br />

get stung by unexpected fees. Make sure<br />
you’re clear on exactly what’s included in<br />
