When in debt review many consumers benefit from the Debt Counsellor<br />
organizing that they do not have to pay monthly account fees and<br />
charges.<br />
Most consumers have at least 7 accounts. If a consumer only has 7<br />
accounts and the credit providers were charging them R70 per account<br />
each month, then that adds up to R490 saving each month. Compare that<br />
with the professional fees on the ‘average’ case (based on the available<br />
debt repayment amount) and most consumer pay only R110 a month for<br />
professional fees.<br />
Then you can consider all the other savings on late payment fees and<br />
penalties and additional interest etc.
